Movado Women’s 605248 Kara Stainless Steel Bangle Bracelet Watch Review

As in Europe these watches are very expensive, I bought it via amazon to try, had it delivered to a friend where I picked it up. It was delivered in its original box, everything looking perfect. My wife was very happy with it and wears it at every special occasion. Movado watches have this effect: they look different from the others and have an stylish and classy look over them. Not really recommended for day to day use I would say for this model.

This elegant two-tone dress watch from Movado’s Kara series has a bold Museum dial and a slender, graceful silhouette. The black dial has gold-tone Dauphine hands and single concave dot marker at the 12 o’clock position. This is Movado’s signature dial, made famous by American designer Nathan George Horwitt in 1947. Horwitt intended his design to be evocative of a sun dial, with the dot representing the sun at high noon. The dial is framed by a round steel bezel. Graceful curved gold-tone lugs secure the case to a slender silver-tone bangle bracelet that fastens with a jewelry clasp. Other notable features of this watch include precise Swiss quartz movement and a highly scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. Water-resistant to 30 meters, this watch can withstand splashes and brief immersion in water; however, it is not sufficiently resistant for swimming.
